  • For the 21 age group and above- A driving license is valid for two years for residential citizens. After renewal, it is reasonable for ten years for citizens and GCC nationals and five years for other nationalities.

  • All the members are required to wear seat belts in a four-wheeler. If not found, then the vehicle will be fined AED 400   
  • For reckless driving, one will incur a fine of AED 2,000.  
  • Those who ignore traffic lights will be fined AED 1 000.  
  • Avoid phones or other distractions while driving, or it will attract AED 400 fine.
