Dubai visa fees in 2026 start at $130 per person for a 14-day business visa or a 48-hour transit visa, and $150 for the standard 30-day single-entry tourist visa. The Dubai visa price you pay depends on three things: how long you want to stay, whether you need single or multiple entry, and whether you add an extension later. This page lists every current fee in one table, explains what each price includes, and flags the costs people forget to budget for.

Dubai Visa Fees 2026: Full Price List

These are the current Dubai visa fees for every visa type we process. Every figure is a total price per person — government fee, sponsorship and service charge included — with nothing added at checkout.

What Dubai Visa Fees Include

Dubai visa fees are not a single government charge. The total price bundles three parts:

• GDRFA government fee — fixed by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. It is non-refundable once the application is submitted, even if the visa is refused.
• Sponsorship and service fee — the charge for the UAE-based sponsor who files your application, pays the government on your behalf and handles follow-up. Tourists cannot apply to GDRFA directly, so this is not optional.
• Travel insurance — mandatory for some visa types and bundled where required. See Dubai travel insurance requirements.

What Dubai Visa Fees Do Not Include

• Flights and hotels.
• Security deposit. Some nationalities are asked for a refundable deposit, returned after you exit the UAE on time. We tell you before you pay if it applies to you.
• Extension fees — listed separately below.
• Overstay fines. Since February 2026 the UAE charges AED 50 per day of overstay with no grace period. Details on our Dubai visa overstay page.

Dubai Tourist Visa Fees by Duration

14-Day Visas — $130 Business, $140 Tourist

The 14 Day Business Visa ($130) is for meetings, exhibitions and trade fairs and is the fastest option, processed in one to two days. The 14 Day Single Visa ($140) is the tourist equivalent for a short holiday or stopover, processed in three to four days. See the 14-day Dubai visa and Dubai business visa guides.

30-Day Visas — $150 Single, $430 Multiple

The standard tourist option. Single entry at $150 is right for a straight return home. Multiple entry at $430 is for travellers who plan to leave the UAE and come back within the 58-day validity — a side trip to Oman, for example. Compare on our 30-day multiple-entry visa page.

60-Day Visas — $450 Single, $800 Multiple

Popular for longer family visits and business trips. The 60 Day Single ($450) suits one continuous stay; the 60 Day Multiple ($800) allows repeated entries across the 60-day validity, which is why it costs more. Full details on the 60-day tourist visa page.

Dubai Visa for 3 Months

There is no standalone 90-day tourist visa on our current list. If you are searching for a Dubai visit visa price for 3 months, the route is a 60 Day Single ($450) followed by a 30 Day Inside A2A Visa Extension ($500) applied for before the first visa expires — $950 in total for up to 90 days. Dubai Transit Visa Fees

The 48 Hour Transit Visa is $130 and the 96 Hour Transit Visa is $135. Both are single entry, valid to enter within 14 days of issue, processed in three to four days, and cannot be extended. Dubai Visa Extension Fees

Extensions are applied for from inside the UAE before your current visa expires. They are priced separately from the original visa:

Long-Term Visa Fees: Freelancer

The 2 Year Freelancer Visa is $2,000, allows a two-year stay, and takes 15 to 30 days to process. It is a residence-type visa with its own eligibility rules, not a visit visa. Read the full guide on Dubai freelance visa.

Dubai Visa Stamping Fees: Not the Same Thing

Searches for "visa stamping fees in Dubai" usually mean residence visas, not visit visas. A visit visa is electronic; nothing is stamped in your passport. Residence visa stamping is part of the employment or family residence process, the fees are set by GDRFA, and they are paid by the sponsor — your employer or family member. Dubai Visa Fees vs UAE Visa Fees

A "UAE visa" and a "Dubai visa" are the same kind of visit visa issued by a different authority. A visa sponsored from Dubai is issued by GDRFA Dubai; one sponsored from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or another emirate is issued by the federal ICP. Both allow entry to all seven emirates. The fees on this page are for Dubai-sponsored visas. ICP-issued visas are priced similarly but not identically, so compare like with like when you see a "UAE visa price" elsewhere.

Why the Dubai Visa Price Varies Between Providers

The government fee is fixed. Everything else is not. Three legitimate reasons prices differ:

1. Service fee. Sponsors set their own charge for filing and follow-up. Airlines typically charge more than agencies.
2. Insurance. Some providers bundle it, some add it at checkout, some leave it to you.
3. Deposit policy. Some sponsors ask certain nationalities for a refundable deposit; others price the risk into the fee.

How to Pay Dubai Visa Fees

Dubai visa fees are paid online by international Visa or Mastercard at the time of application. The amount is charged in US dollars; your card issuer converts it to rupees, naira, shillings, cedis or any other currency at its own rate on the day. If you are budgeting in local currency, check your bank's rate rather than a search-engine conversion — the two can differ by several percent.

Payment is taken before the application is filed with GDRFA, because the government fee must be paid at submission. The total price on this page is the amount charged — there is no separate government fee or service fee added at checkout. We do not accept cash, bank transfer to personal accounts, or payment "on approval" — any provider that does is not filing through the official channel.

Dubai Visa Fees for Families and Children

Every traveller needs their own visa, including infants, so Dubai visa fees are charged per person with no family discount on the government fee. A family of four on 30 Day Single visas pays four times $150, or $600 in total. Children under 18 need the same documents as adults plus a birth certificate, and a child travelling without both parents may need a no-objection letter from the absent parent. Refunds and Rejections

If GDRFA refuses the application, the government fee is not returned. Whether the service fee is refunded depends on the sponsor's written policy — ask for it before you pay.
