The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) introduced a major Three-phase countrywide project named 'The UAE's Natural Wonders' in July 2018. The program's mission is to encourage ecotourism throughout the 7 emirates and to establish the UAE as a major ecological combined with tourism centre.
The very first part of the initiative makes people aware of the UAE's 43 natural reserves, which account for 14% of the UAE's total land area. The department created an environmental tourism webpage, an app called Eco-Tourism UAE, which is accessible on iTunes and Google Play, as well as an eBook underneath the program's subject. These materials provide knowledge, photographs, and films highlighting the diverse wildlife found in the nation's preserved regions.
MOCCAE workers journeyed 2,700 kilometres and filmed 380 hours of film on the land, as well as 350 hours utilising drones, to create the content. The government plans to work with travel agents and airlines to use these locations in UAE advertising itineraries. The highlands and coastline of the UAE will be included in the program's next phase.

In keeping with its prudent leadership plan, the UAE has solidified its place on the global tourism map, with 16 million international visitors in 2017.
Despite the nation's significant ecological endowments, the notion of ecotourism still seems to be underutilised. The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) announced a Three-phase national initiative called 'The UAE's Natural Wonders' as part of its mission to encourage eco-tourism all across 7 emirates. MOCCAE has produced a huge array of reference materials, images, and films during its early phase, which involves increasing awareness of the nation's 43 natural reserves.
