Visit Permit:

Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security Federal Authority announced last month after the UAE cabinet approved the modifications to the visa system in April (ICP).

UAE's new immigration rules and regulations:

1) The five-year green visa would enable foreigners to sponsor themselves under the UAE's new immigration legislation without the assistance of UAE citizens or their employers.

2) People with green visas can now sponsor their relatives.

3) If a holder of a green visa's work permit runs out of time, they are permitted up to six months to renew it.

4) The golden visa also provides a 10-year extended residence option. A golden ticket is available to business owners, investors, and those with remarkable skills.

5) Holders of Golden visas may also sponsor their children and family members. Family members may stay in the UAE whenever the pass is still active.

6) After the bearer's death of a golden visa, the person's pass is still in effect.

7) Following the new immigration regulations, holders of golden visas will also fully own their companies.

Green Visa:

The Green Visa, introduced in September 2021, is a form of renewable residency visa that enables foreigners to sponsor themselves for five years without needing the help of a UAE national or employer. The ticket is open to skilled employees, self-employed individuals, independent contractors, and investors or partners.

Green visa holders also receive additional privileges, such as the right to sponsor family members for their stay, including spouses, children, and first-degree relatives. The UAE government had announced that unmarried daughters and children of determination (with impairments) will provide residence regardless of age and that parents will be permitted to support male youngsters up to the age of 25, an increase from the previous age restriction of 18.

Expanding the Golden Visa program:

Holders of the Golden Visa give long-term, renewable residency permits with a 10-year maximum. Deserving undergraduate and graduate students, investors, company owners, and those with extraordinary talents, such as scientists, physicians, and other professionals in the sciences and knowledge industries, are all eligible for the Golden visa.

To attract and retain talent in the country, we introduced Golden Visas in late 2020. According to the UAE newspaper, The National, 44,000 prizes were distributed in only Dubai during the first year.

Visit Permit:

Visitors with visit visas may stay in the UAE for 60 days instead of 30 days. The five-year multiple-entry tourist visa, which constantly enables guests to remain in the country for up to 90 days, will no longer require a sponsor. Who may extend a visitor's stay under a multi-entry pass, but it should be 180 days in a calendar year.

Neither a host nor a sponsor needs an employment exploration visa. Both recent graduates from the top 500 colleges worldwide and those with the capabilities the UAE's Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization requires will get it.

Changes affecting travellers and others:

With an increase from the previous 30 days to 60 days, travellers can now enter and remain lawfully in the UAE with a tourist visa.

They can now enter the UAE for up to 90 continuous, thanks to a flexible, multi-entry tourist visa valid for five years.

This visa is intended for individuals or students who wish to enrol in training programs, academic courses, or internships. Educational and research institutions in the public and business sectors may sponsor applicants for this visa.
